Desperate for Love Dog Pound Rescue Inc (DFL) is a completely volunteer run, charity organisation based in the Perth Metro area that is committed to saving as many dogs from pounds as possible.

They rescue hundreds of dogs every year and all dogs are placed in foster homes in the metro area until they are adopted. During this time, they receive the vet work, training and love they require in order to ensure they can be their best dog and live their best lives.

DFL also has a Forever Foster program which helps dogs who are too old or infirm to be adopted out. Rather than leave them to die alone in pounds, they live with loving foster carers and have all of their vet needs covered by DFL until it is their time.

They rely on heavily the community to help them continue their work and could not operate without the support of local businesses and the generosity of kind people like yourself.
